Viction Vanguard User Guide

Welcome to Viction Vanguard — a community-driven platform where you can contribute, earn rewards, and grow alongside Web3 innovators.

This guide will help you navigate the platform and make the most of your experience.

1. Getting Started

1. Visit the homepage and click "Continue with X" or "Continue with Google"

2. Authorize the app with your chosen account

3. You'll be guided through a quick onboarding modal — select your skills/interests

4. Verify the Vanguard Pledge checkbox (commitment to community)

5. Done! You're now a Vanguard member

Supported Auth Methods:

X (Twitter): Direct OAuth, or link after joining with Google
Google: Direct OAuth, or link your X account later in profile settings

Complete Your Profile

Go to Profile (top navigation) and fill in:

Bio: 160 characters max — tell us about yourself
Skills: Choose up to 2 initially (unlimited after onboarding)
Telegram: Link your Telegram handle
Connected Accounts: Discord, X (Twitter), and Google
Viction Wallet Address: For future token rewards

💡 Pro Tip: A complete profile increases your chances of being selected for bounties.

Your First Steps

Not sure where to begin? Here's what to do after signing up:

Complete your profile — add your bio, skills, Telegram handle, and connect your Viction wallet
Browse active bounties — head to the Bounty tab and find a task that matches your skills
Check daily quests — quick tasks you can complete right away to start earning XP
Join a clan — find one in the Leaderboard tab to unlock collaboration bonus XP
Watch the leaderboard — track your rank and aim for top positions to earn season rewards

2. Core Concepts

🎯 Bounties — What Are They?

A bounty is a community task or mission created by Viction or partners. You contribute work (content, feedback, onchain tasks, etc.) and get rewarded with XP Points if approved.

How Bounties Work:

Browse available bounties on /bounty
Read the full requirements and judging criteria
Submit your work
Admins review and approve/reject
If approved → XP reward + sometimes token bonuses

Key Info:

Each bounty has a clear deadline
Submission requirements are detailed in the bounty brief
You can submit multiple times unless stated otherwise
Rejected submissions don't affect your XP — try again next round

🎮 Quests

A quest is a simpler, often recurring task that you can complete quickly. Unlike bounties, quests are usually pre-defined and open to everyone.

How Quests Work:

Go to Quests tab
Browse available quests
Click to view details and requirements
Complete the task
XP reward credited

⚽️ Activities — Viction Community Initiatives

Activities are events and community initiatives organized within the Viction ecosystem. Stay connected and participate to grow with the community.

Activity Types:

IRL Meetups: In-person events organized by Viction, local communities, partners, or community members
AMAs: Ask Me Anything sessions with the core team or partners
Community Events: Online or offline events for the Viction ecosystem community

Why Check Activities?

Learn & grow: Free knowledge from Viction experts and community
Networking: Meet other Vanguards and participate in community initiatives
Stay connected: Know what's happening in the Viction ecosystem

Reward Connection: Activities themselves don't directly give XP, but participating in them (if they have associated quests or rewards) can earn you recognition and XP bonuses.

⚡ XP System — Earn & Progress

XP is your contribution score. It represents your impact and engagement with the Vanguard community.

Ways to Earn XP:

Clan collaboration bonus	Extra 10-30%	Granted to clan members based on approved bounty tiers

Weekly login streak	Bonus	For logging in 7+ consecutive days

Profile completion	Bonus	Earn XP for completing your profile — add wallet, Discord, Telegram, bio
Community upvotes	Milestone-based	Receive upvotes on your submissions to unlock bonus XP

⚠️ Important: You can also have XP revoked or deducted if you violate community guidelines, engage in misconduct, or participate in fraudulent activities. Maintain integrity and follow the Terms of Service.

Your Total XP:

Accumulates over time
Visible on your profile
Determines your rank on leaderboards
Unlocks badges at milestones

🏆 Leaderboard & Seasons

A leaderboard is a ranking of Vanguards based on XP earned during a specific period set by admins.

Leaderboard Types:

Seasonal Leaderboard: XP earned during a specific season or period pre-configured by admins (e.g., Apr H1, Apr Full-month, Q2 2026, H1 2026)
Event Leaderboard: Set up by admins based on specific event criteria
Clan Leaderboard: Combined XP of clan members

Why It Matters:

Community recognition
Top performers may get featured on announcements
Bonus rewards may also be distributed based on these leaderboards

👥 Clans — Team Up & Collaborate

A clan is a group of Vanguards working together. Members support each other and earn bonus XP when teammates complete bounties.

Why Join a Clan?

Collaboration Bonus: +% XP on bounties (only for members whose bounties are approved, based on tier)
Community: Network with like-minded contributors
Shared Leaderboard: Compete as a team, not just individually — find your clan's rank in the Leaderboard Clans tab

How to Join a Clan:

Browse clans in the Leaderboard → Clans tab
Request to join — the clan creator will review your request
Or accept an invite from a clan member (check Profile → Clan Invites)

Create Your Own Clan:

Go to your Profile and create a new clan
Invite others through Find Your Frens in the Leaderboard tab
Each clan can have up to 5 members

Clan Bonus XP:

When a bounty is finalized, clan members who had approved submissions earn bonus XP
The bonus is based on your clan's size — join early to benefit from every bounty cycle

🎖️ Badges & Achievements

Badges appear on your profile and showcase your achievements. They are granted automatically when you reach certain thresholds — no need to claim.

Badge Categories:

XP Milestone Badges: Unlock as your total XP grows past key thresholds
Upvote Milestone Badges: Unlock as your submissions receive community upvotes
Achievement Badges: Rewarded for specific actions — such as founding a clan, completing many bounties, or referring active users

How to Earn Badges:

Keep submitting quality work and growing your XP
Engage with the community — upvote great submissions from others
Invite friends and help them get active on the platform
Build a clan and grow it with your team

💡 Pro Tip: Focus on consistency — completing bounties, quests, and filling out your profile all contribute to unlocking badges over time.

🤝 Referral Program — Invite & Earn Together

Grow the Vanguard community and earn XP by inviting friends. When someone joins using your referral code, both of you get rewarded — and you can unlock even more XP as they become active members.

How It Works:

Go to your Profile → Invite tab to find your unique referral code
Share your code with friends
Your friend enters your code after signing up — both of you receive XP instantly

Tier Rewards:

The referral system has multiple reward tiers. As your referrals become more active on the platform, you continue earning bonus XP:

Tier 1 — Sign Up: Your friend applies your code → both you and your friend earn XP
Tier 2 — First Quest: Your friend completes their first quest → you earn additional XP
Tier 3 — First Bounty Approved: Your friend gets their first bounty approved → you earn additional XP
